Habitat

• Origin: This species is native to the Rio Negro in Brazil, a blackwater river system known for its acidic, tannin-rich waters.
• Tank Setup: They thrive in a well-maintained aquarium with plenty of hiding spots, such as caves, driftwood, and plants. They prefer soft, slightly acidic water, mimicking their natural habitat.

Behavior
